Can these be installed on my existing sills, and are they hard to install?
Yes, they can be installed on existing sills. The installation is simple, and no complex wiring is required. To install LED door sills on existing sills, you can either remove the pre-installed sills and replace them with the LED door sills, or you can use dual-sided adhesive tape (Included in your order) to securely attach the LED door sills over the existing ones.
How can I remove existing sills to install yours?
If you have any pre-existing sills made with Plastic, Aluminium or Fiber, follow these steps :
1 - Start by gently heating the area with a hairdryer to soften the adhesive.
2 - Use a plastic trim tool or a flathead screwdriver wrapped in tape to lift one corner of the sill.
3 - Slowly pry and pull up the sill along its length.
4 - Clean any leftover adhesive with an adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol.
5 - Make sure the surface is smooth and clean before installing LED Door Sills.
